New Student Orientation Q&A

Q: What is your major and what do you hope to accomplish professionally after earning a degree?

A: My major is physical therapy. After earning my degree I would like to move to Los Angeles, Calif. to start my own sports rehabilitation center.

Q: Why did you decide to attend FAMU?

A: I wanted to attend FAMU so that I would be a part of an HBCU.

Q:  What is your major and what do you hope to accomplish professionally after earning a degree?

A: My major is pharmacy. After I earn my degree I plan to go back to my hometown and give back.

Q: Why did you decide to attend FAMU?

A: I desire to attend FAMU because it has the number one pharmacy program in the nation.

Q:  What is your major and what do you hope to accomplish professionally after earning a degree?

A: I plan to major in nursing and I hope to become a nurse in a hospital working with terminally ill children.

Q: Why did you decide to attend FAMU?

A: I chose to attend FAMU so that I could continue my family’s legacy.

Q: What are you most excited about as your child begins college here at FAMU?

A: My daughter will begin her journey here at FAMU as a junior. I’m excited to see her as she strives to reach her goals of becoming a professional in the health field. I’m also excited about the opportunities she will have to participate in campus activities and experience life on her own as an adult.

Q: What are you most excited about as your child begins college here at FAMU?

A: Our daughter will be continuing a legacy as well as a tradition in our family of attending college at FAMU! We are totally excited as she embarks this journey of independence, growth, and academics.
