Lawrence Cole, II, is the head of mid-market ad sales at Google, where he leads a team of 50 digital marketing consultants and sales managers, and oversees $1 billion in revenue for the company. With the help of Cole’s leadership, the marketing and sales team assist Google’s fastest growing clients across all industry markets.
Lawrence, who received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from FAMU, is also dedicated to mentorship in the community by encouraging women and underrepresented minorities to pursue careers in STEM. Lawrence is a member of the Advisory Board for the Aviation Community Foundation; an organization that is optimistic about driving unbiased access to aviation and STEM for women and underrepresented minorities. He has served as an Earl Woods Scholarship Mentor for the Tiger Woods Foundation and a volunteer with Black Girls CODE; an organization that supports closing gender and socioeconomic gaps in STEM.
During his time at FAMU, Lawrence was a National Merit Program Achievement Scholar and in several organizations including Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society, Golden Key National Honour Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
