FAMU students are hosting a special exhibit series titled, “Visions” at the Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery.
Graduating Fine Arts students Denzel Goldwire, Quanee Smith and Courtney Dickey will present their individual series of works through April 27. Goldwire’s large-scale portraits explore the realities of political activists, past and present. Smith will present her fashion line and an autobiographical installation. Dickey’s digital art celebrates the accomplishments of record-breaking African-American women.
The “Visions” exhibition is sponsored by the FAMU Student Government Association and is free and open to the public. For more information, call (850) 599-8755.
