FAMU’s School of Allied Health Sciences is offering a four-week program to introduce 10th, 11th, and12th graders to health careers at the school. The Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) will run from June 3-June 28 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily and cost $500. The registration deadline is May 2.
Students will learn more about health professions, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, cardiopulmonary sciences, health informatics and information management, and healthcare management. Program participants will also visit other health professions, such as the College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to get a well-rounded perspective of the industry.
