Florida has experienced a dramatic spike in COVID-19 cases during the last 14 days.
Florida A&M University is closely monitoring these developments and will announce any necessary modifications to the return to work timeline as needed.
Phase 2: The University will continue with our return on July 1, which only includes the opening of select research labs. Employees who have not returned to campus will continue working remotely at the direction of their supervisors.
Essential personnel will continue to complete their assigned duties as the University leadership evaluates the environment for stakeholders’ return to campus.
Phase 3: There’s a possibility that the July 15 return date will be delayed. The University will make an announcement on any changes to this timeline on or before July 10.
Our approach has given us the flexibility to adjust as the conditions of the pandemic in our state and counties change.
