Early voting for the primary elections is being held at the Florida A&M University Efferson Student Union Multipurpose Room C, 1628 South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Sunday, Aug. 16.
The FAMU location is one of 10 early voting sites across Leon County. Voters are casting ballots for school board, judicial, city, county, state and federal races.
In addition to casting a ballot at an early voting site, voters can also pick-up or drop-off a vote-by-mail ballot at each site during voting hours.
Each site will have a drop box located outside and staffed by an election worker, so voters can return their vote-by-mail ballots without needing postage or having to enter the building. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Election Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, August 18, for the ballot to be counted.
