Dear Rattlers,
The FAMU Office of International Education and Development (OIED) would like to share some important updates with you all:
- You can still watch the movie “I am the People: Venezuela under populism” for FREE. The documentary directed by Mr. Carlos Oteyza is available through October 18. Register here. We will host a virtual Q&A with Mr. Carlos Oteyza on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6 p.m. The Zoom link will be available soon.
- The OIED is asking international students, faculty and staff if they would be interested in sharing a testimonial (a picture(s) and a short video in English and/or a second language) about their experience at FAMU as part of the #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign. The campaign is a welcoming message from US higher education to international students around the world. Please reach out before the deadline: Friday, October 30, 2020.
- The International Education Week (IEW) will be held from November 16-20, 2020 and the OIED partnered with Tallahassee Community College (TCC) to host a virtual cooking demonstration by our international students, professors and staff. Each participant can pre-record a video or do it LIVE during the virtual event. If you would like to participate, please reach out before the deadline: Friday, November 6, 2020.
