Florida A&M University
Annual Spring Preview will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the Spring Preview is to provide an opportunity for prospective juniors, seniors and transfer students to learn about Florida A&M University’s outstanding degree programs, meet faculty, administrators and current students, as well as tour our beautiful campus. High schools, community colleges and alumni groups are invited to attend.

The FAMU Living-Learning Community (LLC) Program is accepting applications in the following major areas for the 2019-2020 academic year: Allied Health Sciences, Agriculture & Food Sciences, Business & Industry, Journalism & Graphic Communication, Education, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Honors (all majors/university scholars only), Nursing, and Science & Technology. Incoming freshmen who share common academic interests will live together in the FAMU Village residence hall and interact with faculty in both residential and classroom settings. The LLC program provides incoming freshmen with unique opportunities for faculty engagement, active learning and collaboration with peers. Students will also participate in focused out-of-class learning experiences such as study groups, community service projects, career exploration/field trips, mentoring, leadership development, seminars/workshops, global education, and cultural and social activities. Incoming freshmen who have already been admitted to the University are encouraged to apply for one of the LLC options via the Housing/LLC application process. To apply, access the Housing Website at www.famu.edu/housing, review the “University Housing Application & Instructions,” click on the “How-To” guide for additional assistance and/or click on the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page to start the Housing/LLC application process.
