In celebration of National Women’s History Month, we are delighted to host “Tell It on Tuesday.” On each Tuesday throughout March, President Mangum will host an array of activities that will highlight the Extraordinary Reach of Women throughout history.

Leading Ladies: Equipped, Entrusted, Effective.
Hear from four dynamic leading ladies who equipped themselves through formal education and years of experience to become leaders on “The Hill.” As a result of their expertise and promise, they were entrusted to lead Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in a variety of roles. And they have proved themselves to be effective stewards of FAMU’s legacy, moving us to new levels of greatness.
Are you a FAMU student who loves being in front of the camera? Are you an inspiring comedian with an outgoing, quirky personality? The FAMU Office of Communications is looking for you! FAMU is revamping its Youtube channel and wants to showcase its FAMU talent while promoting events and providing entertainment. Come out January 13 from 3-6 p.m. in the Lee Hall Second Floor Conference Room. Please be prepared to be on camera and bring your resumé! We are looking for FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, AND JUNIORS. SJGC’s Knight Chair for Student Achievement Francine Huff will host a panel discussion featuring Eric Deggans, NPR’s TV critic and author of “Race Baiter: How the Media Wields Dangerous Words to Divide a Nation;” Shonda Knight, WCTV executive producer and anchor; Dr. Leah Hunter, SJGC visiting professor; and Dr. Rondrea Mathis, social justice advocate and visiting instructor at University of South Florida.
