Ameer Brown
After receiving one of the first Adobe Digital Academy fellowships to attend national tech accelerator General Assembly, Brown, a FAMU 2014 public relations graduate was recently hired as a software engineer apprentice at Adobe Systems Inc. working on the brand new Adobe Spark team in San Francisco, CA. Diversity in tech is one of the industry’s biggest issues as numbers for most major companies remain close to 95 percent Asian and white. Brown joins a handful of Rattlers forging their way in Silicon Valley at companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon and now, Adobe. Brown is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
