Melissa Mitchell
Mitchell was born and raised in Miami, and now resides in Atlanta. Her love towards outward expression proved to be the perfect condition to cultivate her unique artistic interpretation and bold creations. Following family tradition and becoming a third generation Rattler, Melissa received her academic training at Florida A&M University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in public relations, a graphic design minor, and a master’s degree in public management. With no formal training, she gave life to art that the world had never seen. Within two years of painting, she sold more than 150 pieces of art, participated in more than five art shows/festivals, painted more than 10 murals, and she is just getting started.
