The annual Florida A&M University Homecoming Parade was one of the highlights of the University’s celebration of welcoming Rattlers back to the “Hill” for the ultimate “FAMUly Reunion.”
The parade route was held on FAMU’s campus and the community came out in droves of thousands to help Rattlers celebrate.
Hundreds of community and statewide entrants showcased their talents and love for FAMU with floats, cars, performances, and, of course, middle school and high school bands from around the country. Special guest performers of the parade included members of the Marching “100” Alumni Band.
Other parade participants included representatives from the University administration and boards, local school boards, alumni groups, members of Congress, members of the Florida Legislature, as well as the Mayor’s Office, and city and county commissioners and judges.
The parade was hosted by radio personality and voice of the Marching “100” Joe Bullard.
