Florida A&M University (FAMU) hits another important financial milestone after its Industry Cluster kicked off the President’s Inaugural activities on Thursday, November 8th. The Cluster is made up of about 30-40 companies that pay $3,000 each in annual membership fees. Nine of the firms were present during the 3-day Presidential celebration: Allstate Insurance Company, Baxter Healthcare, Boeing Corporation, The Curvy Group, Domino’s Pizza, Fifth Third Bank, Five Star Consulting, LLC, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Rockwell Automation.
FAMU President Larry Robinson, Ph.D. was the Industry Cluster’s luncheon speaker sharing the University’s return on investment with the nation’s leading professionals.
Year to date, the companies that were present have helped generate $340,000 for FAMU. The goal is $500,000 by the end of the academic year.
