The Refuge House Partners with FAMU to $10,000 for Community Services

Over 1,500 guests attended the Refuge House’s fundraiser, Tuscany in Tallahassee. The domestic violence shelter and rape center, partnered with FAMU to raise more than $10,000 that will support The Refuge House services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault across the Big Bend region.

The event is an extension of The Refuge House’s and FAMU’s relationship to assist and support students and staff affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. The relationship has served hundreds of students over the last decade.  FAMU First Lady Sharon Robinson served as the honorary chair of the event.

Plans are underway to hold The Refuge House’s second annual Tuscany in Tallahassee next spring.
