The Florida A&M University (FAMU) main campus, the Crestview campus and FAMU DRS will resume normal operations Friday following the passage of inclement weather through the Florida Panhandle and the Big Bend Thursday evening.
University officials reported no weather-related damage.

FAMU and FAMU DRS will close at 12:15 p.m. today due to the approach of inclement weather. The Crestview Campus has been closed immediately.
The Main Dining Room will close at 1 p.m. Box dinners will be served to students in the residence halls.
The University will resume normal operations on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.
Wednesday, Feb. 5
Due to the forecast of inclement weather, including dangerous thunderstorms,
FAMU Day at the Capitol activities will be curtailed at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The Crestview campus will close at 1 p.m., Central Time.
FAMU DRS will close at 1 p.m.
Classes on the Tallahassee main campus will be suspended at 3 p.m., and the University will be closed except for emergency operations and essential personnel.
All afterschool activities for the FAMU main campus and FAMU DRS will be canceled.
All retail food services on campus will be closed Thursday. The Main Dining Hall will remain open until 4:30 p.m. Box dinners will be served in residence halls Thursday evening.
Alumni groups who were planning to travel to Tallahassee for the day of activities are asked to forego making the trip.
