The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (COPPS) will host a community health fair on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Walker-Ford Recreation Center, located at 2301 Pasco St. in Tallahassee.
The health fair will offer free back-to-school immunizations and screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. The event will also include heart-health, nutrition and prescription education, as well as exercise lessons and voter registration. Youth activities will include: outdoor games, a teenage co-op, exercise lessons, and healthy living classes. Demonstrations will also be held to help spark students’ interest in pursuing science, engineering, communications and mathematics.

4th International Conference and Exhibition on Materials Science and Engineering provides a perfect symposium for scientists, engineers, directors of companies and students in the field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology to meet and share their knowledge. The program will focus on current research and advancements in materials research, synthesis, and fabrication.

The Office of Communications is excited to announce the launch of A&M Magazine, which will be celebrated with a launch party featuring FAMU’s 40 Under 40. The event will be held on October 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the School of Architecture and Engineering Technology building’s Atrium. The Launch Party will bring together a diverse group of attendees, including alumni, students, faculty, and staff from the university.
