Support Thanksgiving Project 128
Attention all Colleges, Schools, Departments, Organizations and Employees.
We need you to share with those who are in need during the Holiday Season. Sign up now through November 20 to help provide Thanksgiving Baskets to 128 needy families in our local community, which represents one basket for every year that FAMU has been in existence! This is one way to continue our legacy from the campus to the community. Local non-profit agencies will help to identify families in need. Here is how you can help: Sign up to make a food basket consisting of one turkey and non-perishable food items to complete a Thanksgiving Dinner. Gift Basket sup up is now until November 20 and November 23 is the distribution date. Suggested items include, stuffing, sweet potatoes/mash potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, greens, rolls/cornbread, cranberry sauce, etc. For more information, contact the Office of Student Activities Volunteer Service at (850) 599-3400.
