The On-Site Committee of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) visited Florida A&M University (FAMU) on March 26-29 to conduct a review of the University’s compliance with the SACSCOC accreditation standards.
On Friday, March 30 at noon, FAMU President Larry Robinson, Ph.D., will discuss the outcome of the visit and future steps with faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters during a town hall meeting at Lee Hall Auditorium, 1601 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
SACSCOC is the regional body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in 11 southern states. During the visit, the SACSCOC committee held several meetings and interviews with FAMU’s faculty, administrators, students and staff.
